Join Usu Company Candles for a Candle Making & Storytelling Experience at SECCA!

During your candle making workshops, Owner Stacy Ahua will lead you through each step of the candle making process and all of the materials you'll be using to make a soy wax candle. Next, attendees will sample, select, and blend fragrance oils to create their own unique candle scents.

Finally, you'll have time to develop a story & meaning that represents the candle you've made.

Established in 2020 by the youngest of 3 daughters born to Nigerian parents, Usu Company Candles was created as a way to honor individual culture while making meaningful connections with people from all walks of life. Each 100% Soy wax candle includes a personal story, memory or reflection of Nigeria that inspired the candle name and scent. In addition to hand-crafting Soy wax candles with custom-blended scents, Usu Company also promotes an important mission encouraging  people to embrace who they are, where they come from, and what they're passionate about--to blaze their own trail.
